Werneth "Wendy" Ketcham

Mrs. Werneth Rose “Wendy” Stephenson Ketcham, age 77, of Angier passed away Sunday, October 23, 2011, at Barbour Court Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Smithfield. Funeral Service will be 3:00PM Tuesday, October 25, 2011, at Coats Community Church. Dr. Jim Cochran will officiate. Burial will follow in Lakeside Memorial Gardens, Angier.                Mrs. Ketcham was born July 27, 1934 in Johnston County to the late Zennie M. and Beulah Young Stephenson. She was preceded in death by a Son, Bill Ketcham, and a brother, Iswayne “Steve” Stephenson,  Mrs. Ketcham attended school in Benson, NC and later Hardbargers Business College in Raleigh, NC. She was a real estate broker on Topsail Island, NC.  Mrs. Ketcham was a member of Coats Community Church. Surviving include Husband of 38 years, Dr. William S. Ketcham, DDS of Angier, NC; Sons, Mitchell Langdon of Cheraw, SC, Keith Langdon and Timmy Langdon, both of Angier, NC, Kris Ketcham of Atlanta, GA., and Greg Ketcham of Jacksonville; Daughter, Pam L. Cochran of Angier; Daughters-in-law, Mary Lynn, Jami, Trang, and Kathy Ketcham; Son-in-law, Dr. Jim Cochran; Sisters, Brenda Clarke of Angier and Eloise Sheppard of Buies Creek; Brother, Harold “HB” Stephenson of Angier, NC; Ten Grandchildren and Seven Great-Grandchildren Family will receive friends at Coats Community Church prior to the service from 2:00PM to 2:45PM Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made in her name to Coats Community Church, PO Box 488, Coats, NC 27521.
