Wilfred Bruce, Jr.

Four Oaks, NC: Mr. Wilfred "Butch" Bruce, Jr., age 70 of 1929 Hockaday Rd. died Tuesday at UNC Chapel Hill.  The family will receive friends 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks and at the family home, 1929 Hockaday Road, Four Oaks, NC 27524.  Mr. Bruce was born on October 11, 1947 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Wilfred Bruce and Helen Walker Bruce Mullikin. He was preceded in death by his step-mother, Bess Mills.  Mr. Bruce was a retired carpenter.    Surviving include his wife, Connie Mathews Bruce; daughter and son-in-law, Tracy B. & Corey Lee of Four Oaks; grandchildren, Makayla Howell and Corey Lee; brothers, Danny Mullikin of Kentucky and Denny Mullikin of Alabama. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
