William Keith Barefoot

Benson, NC:  Mr. William Keith Barefoot, age 60, of Raynor Road, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Funeral Services will be 11:00AM Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Benson. Revs. Michael Bassett, Mike Warren and Scott Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow in Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church Cemetery, Benson.             Mr. Barefoot was born on August 23, 1959 in Harnett County to the late William “Jack” Jasper and Virginia Jernigan Barefoot. He was a farmer and carpenter. Mr. Barefoot could be found in the fields or around his barn spending time with his family and friends. Surviving include his wife of 35 years, Jean Moore Barefoot; children, DeChesta Avery and fiancé, Jason Norris of Benson, Jordan Barefoot and wife, Brittany of Benson, Joshua Barefoot of Benson; grandchildren, Tyler Silka, Mason Edens, Seth Norris, Reed Barefoot; brothers and sisters, Suette Meeks and husband, Johnny of Benson; Debbie Johnson of Benson, Jackie Barefoot and wife, Deborah of Benson; brother and sister-in-law, Rickie Moore and wife, Winifred of Benson; numerous nieces and nephews.             Mr. Barefoot will be available for viewing and you may sign the register book from 10:00AM to 5:00PM at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 and the family will not be present at this time.             In accordance with the current NC-COVID19 guidelines, the funeral home suggest practicing social distancing guidelines and the three W's: wait, wash, and wear a face covering.
