William Buffkin

Mr. William Henry Buffkin, age 74, of 595 S. Pleasant Coats Road died Thursday, December 8, 2011.  Graveside Funeral Services will be 2:00PM Sunday, December 11, 2011, at Lakeside Memorial Gardens in Angier. Rev. Randy Beasley and Rev. R. B. Parrish will officiate.             Mr. Buffkin was born November 22, 1937 in Harnett County to the late Henry Bethel and Ruby Lucas Buffkin.  He was a mechanic and truck driver for Winn-Dixie.  Mr. Buffkin served in the U. S. Air Force.  He was a member of American Legion Banner Post 109 for over 30 years and served as a commander.  Mr. Buffkin attended Lee’s Grove PFWB Church. Survivors are Daughters & Sons-in-Law, Karen & Dean Benson of Princeton, Michelle Buffkin of Coats; and Scott & Valerie Leniton of Newport Richie, FL; Son & Daughter-in-Law, William & Renee Buffkin of Coats; Sister & Brother-in-Law, Debra Sue & Ronnie Parrish of Coats; and Brothers & Sister-in-Law, Stephen Buffkin and Eddy & Karen Buffkin, all of Benson; 8 Grandchildren; 4 Great Grandchildren; and Special Friend, Dena Miller. Family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Saturday, December 10, 2011.
