William Weaver, Sr.

Crumpler, NC:  Mr. William Mack Weaver, Sr., age 78, formerly of Coats, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2020, at Ashe Memorial Hospital in Jefferson, NC.  A Graveside Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, on Saturday, November 28, 2020, at Prospect Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, Dunn, NC.  Reverend Billy Keith will officiate.  Mr. Weaver was born on April 28, 1942, in Harnett County to the late James Edward Weaver and Mildred Jernigan Weaver Council.  He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Sandra Walston Weaver, and a son, William Mack Weaver, Jr.  Mr. Weaver retired from Winn-Dixie Warehouse in Raleigh/Clayton with 35 years of service.  He was a member of Prospect Free Will Baptist Church, Dunn. He is survived by his daughter, Sharon Weaver Lucas, and husband, Kenny, of Crumpler; grandchildren, Christopher Hilliard, of Hannibal, Missouri, Kenneth Brandon Lucas, of Abingdon, VA, and David Bradley Lucas, of Crumpler; great-grandchildren, Toby Mack Abel Tadlock, great-grandson Lucas expected February 5, 2021; sisters, Becky Norris, of Coats and Elaine Lee and husband, Pete, of Winnabow; brother, James Weaver and wife, Joyce, of California; MANY nieces and nephews. Mr. Weaver will be available for viewing, and you may sign the register book on Friday, November 27, 2020, from 1:00-5:00 PM.  The family will not be present during this time.  Flowers are welcomed.
