Coats, NC: Mr. Willie Cleasper Beasley, age 87, of 5410 Red Hill Church Road died Sunday, June 23, 2013, at his residence after an extended illness. Funeral services will be 11:00AM Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at Red Hill Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church. Officiating will be Revs. Tony Beasley, Bobby Caudle, and Donnie Barbour. Burial will follow in Harnett Devotional Gardens, Dunn.
Mr. Beasley was born February 1, 1926 in Johnston County to the late James A. and Hattie Young Beasley. He was also preceded in death by Sisters, Laylon B. McLamb and Gladys B. Vann; and Brothers, James Beasley, Charles Beasley, and Wade Beasley. Mr. Beasley was a member of Red Hill PFWB Church and served in many capacities. He served in the US Navy during WWII. Mr. Beasley farmed, and was a partner in Beasley and Stancil Tin Shop. With his family, in 1978, he founded Beasley’s Heat and Air.
Surviving include his wife of 60 years, Fannie Jackson Beasley; Sons & Daughter-In-Law, Gary & Sharon Beasley of Erwin, Tony & Barbara Beasley of Coats, Brent & Becky Beasley of Coats, and Mike & Donna Beasley of Coats; Sisters, Margaret B. Stancil of Benson, and Lois B. Jackson of Fayetteville; Ten Grandchildren and Two Great Granddaughters.
Family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Tuesday, June 25, 2013.
