Woody Ray Wheeler

Benson, NC: Mr. Woody Ray Wheeler, age 53, of 1599 Five Points Road, passed away on January 14, 2022 at his residence. Graveside Funeral Service will be held 2:00PM-Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Wheeler Family Cemetery in Benson, NC. Rev. Doug Abel will officiate.

Mr. Wheeler was born on October 26, 1968 in Johnston County to James Willard and Peggy O’Neal Wheeler. Mr. Wheeler worked in construction for many years and had recently retired. He was a loving husband, father, son, and friend.

Surviving include his wife, Sue Ellen Wheeler; children, Harley Marie Wheeler, Davidson Ray Wheeler, and Damion Matthew Wheeler; parents, Willard and Peggy Wheeler; grandchildren, Aviana Marie Wheeler, Brayden Danzig Wheeler, and Legand Wheeler; brothers, James Michael Wheeler and special friend, Tonya Benson and Jeffrey Wayne Wheeler, and wife, Janice.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 from 12:30PM to 1:30PM prior to the service at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson.
