Zadie McLamb

Benson: Mrs. Zadie Lee McLamb, age 88, of 263 Beasley Road died Wednesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro. Funeral services will be 3:00PM Friday at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson.  Officiating will be Rev. Jason Hudson.  Burial will follow in Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church Cemetery, Benson, NC.             Mrs. McLamb was born March 23, 1928 in Johnston County to the late James Ernon and Spicey McLamb Lee.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, R. Gerald McLamb; daughter, Peggy M. Johnson; son, Glenn McLamb; great-great grandson, Westyn Henry McLamb; and brother, Edward Earl Lee.  Mrs. McLamb worked with Block Industries for thirty-four years and was also a member of Unity Advent Christian Church, Four Oaks, NC.             Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law, Donnie and Julia McLamb and Dianne McLamb all of Benson; Ronnie and Dr. Donna W. McLamb of Dobson, NC; son-in-law, William (Bill) Johnson; grandchildren, John Louis McLamb, Chris Johnson, Tracey McLamb, Amy M. Tyndall, Justin McLamb, Austin McLamb and Karie McLamb; great grandchildren, Johnathan McLamb, Dustyn McLamb, Colby McLamb, Dylan McLamb, Taylor McLamb,  Jenson McLamb, Tyler Tyndall, Jacoby Tyndall, Easton McLamb, Asher McLamb, Garrett Johnson and Camryn Johnson; great-great grandson, Brooks McLamb; half-sisters, Elouise Yarbourgh of Sanford, Carol Jefferies, Betty Henderson, Lynda Dowdy of Moncure, and Joyce Elliott of Sanford; and  several nieces and nephews.             Family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson Friday 1:00PM -2:30PM prior to the service and other times at the home, 263 Beasley Road, Benson, NC  27504.             Arrangements by Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC.
